HTTYD FanFiction: Destiny Chapter 1
Looking back on my life, I realized that maybe I wasn't such a screw up. I remembered the first day I met Hiccup, Toothless, and the rest of the gang. But, the one thing that kept replaying back in my mind over and over again was the moment of when I first met Comet. My lovely, darling, Comet. As I fell through the air, waiting to crash land in the ocean. I accepted my death and remember the people, and dragons that impacted my life.
Oh gods I'm terribly sorry, you're probably very confused and wondering what in Thor's name I'm talking about. Well perhaps I should start from the very beginning.
It was a calm and windy day on the water. My m

Learning To Fly Chapter One- Cleaning Up Messes
Helen woke up to a lot of noise coming from outside. This was usual, due to living in Berk, where the town was populated by Vikings, but this noise wasn't any noise. It was THE noise. She could hear dragons roaring and Vikings roaring back. She could hear buildings being burned and she could smell the smoke; wait, smoke?
'CRAP' she thought, and quickly ran out of her burning room. 'Great, just great, first I'm late to get to the Forges, and second, my room is on fire!' She half ran/half fell down the giant stairs in her rush to get away from the flames. Helen was approximately four foot five, which was small, seeing as how she was a Viking a
Snotlout went straight upstairs to his room after lunch, he planned on spending the rest of the afternoon in his room thinking. Well, if he could think. He tucked his knees up against his face, put his arms around his legs and rested his head on his knees. His helmet was resting on the end of his bed.
'What the hell am I meant to do tonight? I've already heard that shes been seeing this other guy for ages now. I'm nothing special, I'm so stupid. I'll mess this up for sure..'
He sniffled and buried his head deeper in his knees.
Downstairs, his mother and father could hear him sniffing away..
"Is my son crying?" Spitelout said fiercely, but no
Chapter 3:
Attempting to keep up with Chiron, Hiccup walked as fast as his metal foot would allow. Chiron, noticing that Hiccup wasn't near his side anymore, stopped and turned around.
"I apologize, Hiccup, for my fast pace. It's something I can't really help," he gave Hiccup an apologetic grin.
"Really, Chiron, it's fine," huffed Hiccup as he caught his breath. "So do you have any idea why this is happening to us?"
"Honestly, Hiccup, I haven't the slightest idea why or even how this happened. But don't worry; we will consult the Gods after dinner." He stopped at the edge of a dock and looked out into the horizon. "This is the first ti

Annabeth looked dumbly at the group of teens in front of her, her mouth gaping. "I've been through a lot of crazy things, but time travel? No, this can not be happening," she thought.
Pulling Chiron over to the side, she hissed in his ear,
"Chiron, what the hell do you mean 'They're from the past'?"
"I mean exactly what I say, Annabeth. These teens are Vikings, brought here from the forgotten annals of history."
Annabeth opened her mouth to inquire more about the peculiar event but was cut short when the girl named Ruffnut collapsed to the ground with a cry. Her brother instantly gathered her up in his arms and spoke for the f

Learning To Fly Chapter Four-First Day Of Training
Helen used the river that ran behind her house as a bath of sorts. It was much more sanitary than the ocean, and Helen had even made a stone tub of sorts that she could fill with water so that the fish weren't hurt by her soaps. She grabbed a bucket and filled the tub with the icy water before pulling off her clothes and tossing them into another bucket full of soapy water to soak. Helen dunked her head under the water and resurfaced, grabbing a bottle of her shampoo. She had bought it, along with her body wash, from some traveling merchants that sailed to Berk once a year, bearing items for purchase such as soap, silk, weapons, and women's b

I reached my hand out unto the evening sky. It was a rare day, sun shining, and colorful clouds.
I've always wondered what they felt like.
My back was wet from the grass. I sighed. The grass was almost never dry in Berk.
I reached for the sky with both hands.
"You should really get a dragon Harriot." My friend Flare asked.
"Like that two-faced Astrid? No way." I responded.
"You'd be able to touch the clouds." The blond responded.
"I know." I smiled. "But I like it. Like this." I threw grass in the air and watched the blades disappear with the wind. I enjoyed watching.
"Your hopeless." She sighed. "Lets go, this cli
Megan stuck her hair outside the upstairs window; she felt the droplets of rain dance down her nose and drip off the end. Puffs of cold air could be seen drifting out her nose, her eyes were shut, she listened... All that could be heard was the sound of the rain pouring down over Berk.
Adrenalin growled from under the house, she hated the rain. She refused to go outside when it was raining, so she spent most of her time inside since it always rains on Berk. Megan opened her eyes and looked down, she sighed.
"Hey Megan!" A voice shouted from below. She looked down to find Ruffnut and Tuffnut standing below her house.
"Yeah?" She shouted back
Prologue
The sun was slow to rouse itself from its nightly slumber.
Eventually dawn moved into to reclaim the sky as it returned to its usual light blue. Peeking over the horizon the sun cast the first rays of golden warmth on the island spread before it. In response many of the island inhabitants began to stir, awakening from their own respite to face what the new day would bring. And so it was the same for the occupants of the isle's sole village. This was the village of Berk, home to atleast seven generations of Vikings belonging to the Hairy Hooligan tribe.
Once the sun had crept high enough the crows of roosters echoed throughout the
